Hodor’s real name is actually Wylis in the TV show. His name is Walder in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series.

4) Who fights alongside Ned Stark at the Tower of Joy? (Episode 3)

Howland Reed fights alongside Ned Stark at the Tower Of Joy. He is the father of Meera and Jojen Reed. It is during this flashback where it is revealed that Ned Stark is not the father of Jon Snow. Jon is really the son of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark.

5) What phrase is repeated multiple times in Ramsay Bolton’s letter to Jon Snow in Episode 4?

The answer is ‘Come And See’, which is repeated multiple times throughout. This letter eventually led to the ‘Battle of the Bastards’ happening and Jon Snow taking back Winterfell.

6) What gift does Littlefinger give to Robin Arryn during Season 6, Episode 4?

Littlefinger gives Robin a falcon during the episode, which makes sense because it is the sigil of House Arryn.

7) Sam steals his father’s sword in Episode 6. What is that sword called?

Samwell Tarly steals Heartsbane, which is the ancestral Valyrian steel sword of House Tarly. This was the Valyrian steel sword that had been passed through the family for over 500 years. Sam subsequently gives the sword to Jorah Mormont in the final season.

8) What is the name of the Lady who Arya refuses to kill for the Faceless Men during Season 6?

Arya Stark refuses to kill actress Lady Crane for the Faceless Men. This comes as a result of Arya and Lady Crane becoming friends.

9) Who Saves Jon’s Army in the ‘Battle of the Bastards’? (Episode 9)

The Knights of the Vale save Jon’s Army, which helps them win the Battle of the Bastards. They are led by Lord Baelish, Lady Sansa Stark, and Lord Yohn Royce.

10) What type of dish does Arya Stark serve Walder Frey before she kills him? (Episode 10)

Arya serves Walder a meat pie full of Walder Frey’s sons’ flesh prior to slicing his throat. This was some obvious revenge for Walder killing Robb and Catelyn Stark during the infamous Red Wedding.

• Jonathan Pryce (The High Sparrow) was added to the main cast for season 6 as he was previously listed as a recurring guest for season 5.
• Several actors/ characters returned after not being featured in the 5th season. That includes Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark), Kristian Nairn (Hodor), Ellie Kendrick (Meera Reed), Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy) and Rory McCann (“The Hound”).
